The founder of the “Bessmertny barak” project about victims of political repression, Andrey Shalaev, disappeared in Tver after being detained by the police.

On October 19, Shalaev reported to “OVD-Info” that he was detained at the station in a cafe where he was waiting for a train. According to the activist, they wanted to draw up a report on him under the administrative article about appearing in public places in a drunken state. The last time Shalaev made contact was in the evening of the same day.

It was not possible to call the medical institutions, not a single phone number answered,” says the project’s message.
