In Lipetsk, a criminal case was initiated against the activist Stanislav Korvyakov on the article about the discrediting of the Russian army. The reason was ego posts in the “Yandex.Zen” service. There, he compared the symbols of the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the swastika and criticized the Russian army, said the city’s acting district prosecutor.
“There is a lot of negativity, a lot of mud. We brought a linguistic examination. I think that Korvyakov will be brought to criminal responsibility on our initiative and will suffer the well-deserved punishment, although he actively opposes the investigation,” Gorod48.ru quotes the prosecutor.
Korvyakov has already been fined 30,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the army, says “Mediazona”. The reason for this was an email that the activist sent to the Lipetsk administration. In the text, he demanded to remove the letter Z from the building of the city youth palace “October”.
“Z is Putin’s swastika. Z is a symbol of the war in Ukraine. Only those zombified by propaganda from the first channel can support the war and draw the letters Z,” the message said.
In addition, the court fined him for applying to the regional Ministry of Health with a request to remove the letters used in the Russian invasion to designate troop groups (Z, V, O) from ambulances.
According to the criminal article, Korvyakov faces up to three years in prison.
