The Acting Minister of Defense of the Ukrainian State, Rustem Umerov, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, met in Kyiv with a delegation of committee heads of the European Parliament. Politicians discussed the current situation on the battlefield and support for the Ukrainian state from partners, Vechernye Vesty reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the leader of the Ministry of Defense noted that assistance from the European Parliament is a very important link in international support for Ukraine.
According to Umerov, intentions to increase the amount of aid are of great importance. At the same time, this meaning is important not only for military personnel. Umerov and Syrsky also shared information about the situation on the battlefield. Umerov urged the European Union to tighten sanctions against the aggressor country.
Umerov thanked Denmark for the F-16 and discussed the situation at the front.
