During the meeting with the Danish delegation, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov discussed the current situation on the front line. He also raised the issue of joint defense production and training of pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the F-16, Vechernye Vesty reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Umerov claims that Ukrainian-Danish relations in the defense sphere are “growing”. In this, he included increased work on the “new unified investment mechanism in Ukrainian companies”.
He also added that in this area of issues priority is on direct investments. Also on joint defense companies and localization of production processes on the territory of the Ukrainian state.
He also thanked the partners for the provision of F-16 aircraft and the training of pilots of the Ukrainian state.
Umerov previously spoke about an aid package that would “meet the needs of the Armed Forces.”
