The Ministry of Defense of Russia showed a video of Iranian shells in the Russian military. Tehran denies that it provides Moscow with military aid, including supplies. From the mass media, the German publication Bild drew attention to this.

122-millimeter “Arash” projectiles for multiple-launch rocket systems were caught on video of the Ministry of Defense, wrote on October 2 the Voenny osvedimittel, a channel close to the Russian military telegram. These are deeply modified rockets for the Soviet “Grad” salvo fire systems, which are in service with both the Russian and Iranian armies.

Iranian shells hit the video several times from the conflict zone. They were also used by the Ukrainian military. In those cases, it was probably ammunition intercepted by Western allies on the way to warring Yemen, where Iran supports one of the sides.

At the end of June, the Russian military blog ImpNavigator pointed out that the Russian army can use Chinese-made Iranian shells for 152-mm howitzers.

International trade rules usually imply that ammunition cannot be re-exported without the permission of the country of manufacture, in this case China.

Both Tehran and Beijing deny the supply of any military equipment to the Russian military. The President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, said for the last time that Iran does not provide such assistance about two weeks ago, reports Bild.
