The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on 31 downed drones

On the night of October 4, 31 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones were destroyed over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced.
According to the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, “about 19 objects were shot down” over the region. Previously, an administrative building in Belgorod, a house in the village of Shishino, and three cars were damaged. In the morning, Gladkov promised to start “correcting the situation” right away.
The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported that one drone was destroyed over the region – there were no casualties or damage. He also wrote that Ukraine shelled several districts of the region with cluster munitions – several houses and farm buildings were damaged.
The Kursk authorities did not report the attacks.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia also announced the suppression of the sortie in Crimea by Ukrainian paratroopers who were traveling on a high-speed military boat and three jet skis.
- During the year and a half of the war with Ukraine, the Russian authorities reported drone attacks on Russian regions more than 500 times, RBC calculated. Destruction or victims were mentioned in 110 statements.
- Regional authorities mainly claim that the attacks are being carried out from the Ukrainian side. Kyiv does not comment on these messages.
