The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has declared journalist Andrey Serafimov a federally wanted person. “Verstka” drew attention to this.

“To be honest, it looks very ironic against the backdrop of Putin’s presidential nomination and his statement about the absence of political repression in the country,” Serafimov told Novaya Gazeta Europe. According to him, the police came to the home of his relatives, and then released them for questioning. In addition, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited the university where he studies. The journalist is currently abroad.
