The National Bank transferred UAH 71.87 billion from its profit for the past hour to the state budget of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the regulator.

The NBU emphasized that this is the largest amount in the history of the National Bank of a portion of the profit for distribution sent to the state budget.

On April 24, the NBU Council approved the regulator’s consolidated financial statements for 2022. According to the results of 2022, the profit from the distribution of the National Bank amounted to UAH 91 billion.

According to the law “On the National Bank of Ukraine”, this amount is partially allocated to the state budget, and partially to the general reserves of the NBU.
In general, the financial result of the National Bank for 2022 amounted to UAH 232.3 billion.
