Storting leaders are meeting on Monday to discuss the aid package, which will be presented by the country’s prime minister and finance minister Trygve Slugsvold.
The package includes both monetary assistance and weapons to Ukraine, as well as assistance to other countries affected by the aftermath of the war.
The package is the result of a budget agreement between the ruling parties — the Labor Party and the Center Party and SV — last fall.
Let’s remind
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance wrote that the Norwegian government signed an agreement with the regional branch of the World Bank from Eastern Europe to allocate 1 billion Norwegian kroner (about $90 million) to restore the energy system of Ukraine.
