The Council abolished taxes on the import of drones, thermal imagers and walkie-talkies
The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft laws No. 8360 and No. 8361-d on exemption from VAT and duties on the import of copters, thermal imagers, collimators and night vision devices and radios as a basis and as a whole. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the first deputy head of the Committee of the Russian Federation on tax and customs policy, reported this in Telegram.

According to him, walkie-talkies were added at the request of volunteer organizations.
The documents were supported by 331 and 326 people’s deputies, respectively.
“All bureaucratic restrictions on the import of these important for our defense goods have been removed. The law was developed together with volunteer organizations,” Zheleznyak said.
At the same time, benefits will not be applied to goods originating from a country recognized by the occupying state and/or the aggressor state, and imported from the territory of the occupying state or from the occupied territory of Ukraine.
