The number of people killed as a result of a drone attack on an apartment building in Sumy on March 13 increased to three. The body of one more person was taken out from under the rubble.

This was reported by the Ukrainian public television company “Suspilne” with reference to its correspondent at the scene of the events.

The Sumy city administration noted that 14 people were injured in the drone attack. Emergency and rescue work continues. The Russian authorities did not comment on the raid.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported new Russian attacks using drones on Thursday night. According to the headquarters, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 36 Shahed drones, of which 22 were destroyed.

Earlier, the authorities of Ukraine reported on drone strikes in several regions of the country. The Sumy regional administration informed that drones hit infrastructure facilities in four cities: Sumy, Shostka, Akhtyrka and Belopolye. No casualties were reported.

The administration of the Sumy region also reported that as a result of Russian missile attacks on radio engineering facilities in the region, several television and radio broadcasting transmitters were disabled. “Due to the damaged part of the territory of the region, the Ukrainian television and radio signal cannot be received. There are possible interruptions with mobile communication,” the message says.

Oleg Synegubov, the head of the military administration of Kharkiv region, also reported on “damage to television infrastructure facilities” on Thursday.
