Fortification structures at all facilities withstood direct and indirect hits during a massive rocket and drone attack on the energy system of Ukraine on March 22, ensuring full protection of auto transformers and electrical equipment.

According to him, on the night of March 22, the enemy struck objects at 9 substations, where construction work on the construction of protection was organized by the Reconstruction Agency.

“However, the protection worked with maximum efficiency at all substations. Fortification structures at all facilities withstood direct and indirect blows, ensuring full protection of autotransformers and electrical equipment,” Nayem noted.

He also added that at some substations there is damage to the protective structures as a result of direct impacts, but the equipment of the substations remained intact.

In general, as part of the first level of protection against debris, protection of 103 objects in 21 regions was ensured, including objects of generation and distribution networks. The second level of protection against combat unmanned aerial vehicles provided protection for 22 substations in 14 regions.

As a result of the rocket attack on March 22 there is a hit on the largest HPP of Ukraine – DniproHPP in Zaporizhzhia. There is no threat of a breach, the situation at the dam of the station is under control.

In “Ukrhydroenergo” reported about two direct hits to the Dnipro HPP located in Zaporizhzhia – HPP-1 and HPP-2. Currently, it is not known whether it will be possible to restore the latter, because it has suffered serious damage.

Later it became known that Russian missiles hit at DniproHES 8 times, emergency services and emergency services work at the station.

At the same time, “Ukrhydroenergo” does not exclude possible intentions of the enemy to completely destroy the station.

At the Dniprovska HPP succeeded to start some of the equipment, but the station does not produce electricity yet.

As a result of Russian missile attacks on the facilities of the energy system of Ukraine in a number of regions of Ukraine were introduced emergency power outages.

Subsequently, “Ukrenergo” gave the command for switching on household consumers in all regions of Ukraine, except Kharkiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi and Dnipropetrovsk.

In Odesa and Odesa district forced will apply emergency power cuts.
