The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case about the terrorist attack after the attack of two drones in Moscow on July 24. This is reported by Kommersant.
According to the publication, the investigation blames the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They believe that the attack was organized by officials of this department.
- Two drones attacked Moscow on Monday morning. One of the drones fell in the area of Komsomolskogo Prospekt close to the city center. Not far from this place on Frunzenskaya embankment is the building of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The second hit the building of the business center on Lykhachev Avenue. There were no serious injuries or casualties.
- The Ministry of Defense of Russia accused Ukraine of the drone attack on Moscow. The department claims that two Ukrainian drones were suppressed by means of electronic warfare and destroyed. The Ukrainian military did not comment on the drone strike on Moscow.
- Earlier, drones attacked the center of Moscow in May. Two small drones flew to the Kremlin, crashing into the dome of the Senate Palace. Also, a drone hit a building in Novaya Moskva, and one of the drones was reportedly shot down over the Rublyov highway.
