The Investigative Committee presented the final indictment to Darya Trepovoy in the case of the murder of pro-war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky in St. Petersburg. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the head of the SC Alexander Bastrykin. A terrorist attack case is being investigated against Trepova.
In May, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced a wanted list of Ukrainian citizen Yury Denisov, who is believed to be the organizer of Tatarsky’s murder.
According to the investigation, Denisov, while in Russia, collected information about Tatarsky, and then handed over a statuette with an explosive to 26-year-old St. Petersburg woman Daria Trepova. On April 2, the girl brought it to a meeting with a blogger at Street Food Bar No. 1, where the explosion occurred. Tatarsky died, dozens of people were injured.
- Daria Trepova was entered into the register of extremists and terrorists. Dmytro Kasintsev, an acquaintance of the St. Petersburg woman, in whose apartment she hid after the explosion, was placed under house arrest. Yuri Denisov, according to the FSB, flew to Turkey.
- The agency also claims that Denisov and Trepova went to kill the pro-military blogger after “repeated calls” from the heads of the Anti-Corruption Foundation founded by Alexei Navalny – Leonid Volkov and Ivan Zhdanov. The special service does not provide evidence of its words. Allies of the opposition rejected these accusations.
