The schoolboy was released to the Investigative Committee after a film about activism

In Novosibirsk, schoolboy Evgeny Fokin was released to the Investigative Committee after the release of a film about his civic activism. Formal suggestion – “will update fingerprints”. This is reported by Sibir.Realii with reference to Fokin himself.

18-year-old Fokin received a call immediately after the release of a film in which he talked about the long term of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s rule.

“They called and said that some kind of order had been issued and it was necessary to renew the fingerprints. I came, the fingers were removed, they did not ask about the film,” Fokin reported.

A schoolboy regularly complains about the lack of lighting on the streets, the poor performance of public transport or Z-banners, which are hung in violation of urban planning norms. Now Fokin is an assistant to Svetlana Kaverzyna, an independent deputy of the Novosibirsk City Council.

  • In 2022, Fokin was charged with military “fakes” for reposting news and emojis. After the examination, the case was closed.
  • In May, unknown persons threw a grenade at Fokin’s house.
