Most of the diploma of the Russian singer “patriotic direction” Shaman contains borrowings. Some pages are written off completely, including from “Wikipedia”. This was found out by “Dissernet”.
According to the analysis, 19 out of 26 pages of the main part of the diploma, which Shaman (real name – Yaroslav Dronov) defended in Gnesinka in 2016, contain borrowings. At the same time, 11 pages are completely copied from other sources, two of them are from “Wikipedia”.
Shaman became popular after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, began to perform patriotic songs. Performing the song “Я русский” at the concert, which was recently broadcast by the First channel, Shaman pressed the red button on the symbolic “nuclear suitcase” – after which fireworks exploded over the stadium.
Some researchers believe that in this way the singer normalizes the topic of a nuclear strike in the public space – following Russian President Vladimir Putin and VGTRK employee Dmitry Kiselyov.
