Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is running for a fifth presidential term, indirectly commented on the so-called naked party in a Moscow club, which became the reason for the persecution of a number of its participants, among whom were stars of show business. Earlier, with reference to sources, a number of mass media wrote that the president’s administration demanded to punish the participants of the party in the Moscow club “Mutabor”.

At a meeting with heads of municipalities, the video of which was released by the press service of the Kremlin on Tuesday, Putin said that it was necessary to provide assistance to those returning from the front to the participants of the invasion of Ukraine. “People who decide to go there go through this crucible, very many life priorities are arranged in a different way. Here you will no longer be able to jump without pants at some event,” Putin said.

Earlier, the head of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, commented on the same party, who called on the prosecutor’s office to respond to similar events.

A private party at the Mutabor club, dedicated to the opening of the Playboy magazine photo exhibition, took place on December 20. A dress code with a minimum of clothing was recommended for guests participating in Moscow social life.

Photos and videos from the party got on the Internet and led to the condemnation of pro-government bloggers and activists. The participants, in particular, were accused of the inappropriateness of such events against the background of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Sources of several mass media assume that the public campaign was organized from the Kremlin. The organizer of the evening, blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, and many guests, including TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, singers Philip Kirkorov and Dima Bylan, were forced to publish a video with apologies or excuses for the event. The Ivleeva court imposed an administrative fine. The club’s work was suspended for three months citing formal violations.

One of the participants of the party – rapper Vacio (Nikolay Vasiliev) – was twice sent to court for arrest on charges of petty hooliganism, first for 15 days, and then for 10. While under arrest, he received a summons to the military enlistment office. Vacio left the special receiver on the evening of January 15. The Mash publication claims that on January 16, he visited the military enlistment office, where he was allegedly offered to “serve in the orchestra troops.” This has not been officially announced, there is currently no draft for military service.

Also on Tuesday, it became known that another participant of the party, singer Dima Bylan, who previously had not directly expressed his support for the war, visited the Russian-occupied territory of the Donetsk region. It is claimed that he brought a humanitarian cargo there, and also met with the Russian military.
