Trains in the direction of Przemyśl are once again delayed

A number of trains on the Przemyśl route are again running behind schedule due to the derailment of a freight train in Poland on December 20.
This is stated in messages JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
“Flights in the Przemyśl direction are still catching up with the schedule after yesterday’s descent of a Polish freight train near Medyka (Poland),” Ukrzaliznytsia reported.
It is indicated that the Czech flight RJ1022 to Prague waited for Ukrainian passengers at night and departed at 3:22 a.m., now it is on the approach to the Czech capital.
Traffic on the Polish border was fully restored on Wednesday evening, but due to the incident some trains left with a delay:
- #716/715 Przemyśl – Kyiv departed from Lviv station at 09:42 (+7:07),
- #31/32 Przemyśl – Zaporizhzhia +5:37,
- #51/52 Przemyśl – Kyiv +3:00, #35/36 Przemyśl – Odesa +1:55,
- #37/38 Uzhhorod – Odesa +1:55.

It was previously reported that the movement of trains through the railway station of Art. Medica (Przemyśl direction), stopped due to the descent of a freight train in Poland, was restored.
