Ukraine received $132 million from the World Bank

On Friday, May 11, Ukraine received financing from the World Bank in the amount of $132 million. The loan funds went to the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine as a result of the implementation of measures provided for in the framework of the “Acceleration of Private Investments in Agriculture” project. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

“We are grateful to the World Bank for the financing provided. The funds raised will allow us to further support the financial stability of Ukraine and reimburse priority expenses, in particular in the agricultural sector, to improve the situation in the food industry and ensure food security in Ukraine,” noted Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko.
The loan was provided within the framework of the Loan Agreement between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
