Ukrainian paraswimmers won 12 awards at the international tournament in France

Ukrainian paraswimmers received 12 medals at the international tournament among athletes with musculoskeletal disorders and visual impairments World Series Limoges, which was held in the French city of Limoges. He writes about this with reference to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
In particular, the Ukrainian national team won 2 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Thus, the most successful among Ukrainians were Andrey Trusov, who won the 50 m freestyle, and Alexander Artyukhov, who won gold in the 100-meter backstroke and bronze in the 100-meter breaststroke among juniors.
In general, 144 athletes from 29 countries of the world took part in the competition. The Ukrainian team was represented by 11 athletes with disabilities, 7 of them won awards.
Ukrainian paraswimmers also met the qualification standards for the 2023 World Championships, which will be held in Manchester, Great Britain.
