Ukrenergo: A deficit in the energy system is not forecast, in Odesa there are planned shutdowns

There is no power deficit in the power system for the twelfth day in a row and it is currently not forecast, however network restrictions continue in Odesa due to significant damage.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
It is noted that consumption in the energy system is at the level of a normal working day.
Currently, all types of power plants are operating in the power system. Electricity imports are carried out in small volumes and continue to decrease.
Despite the absence of a shortage, due to damage by enemy shelling to the networks of distribution system operators, there is a blackout in the front-line areas of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. Where the security situation allows, repair work is carried out.
Consumption limits were not brought to the oblasts due to the lack of capacity in the power system.
“However, if the situation in the power system changes and consumption increases sharply, blackouts may be applied,” Ukrenergo emphasizes.
In addition, there are still network restrictions in Odesa caused by significant damage to the energy infrastructure. Hourly shutdown schedules are used to avoid overloading the equipment that remains in operation.
We remind you:
On Thursday, February 23, the power system will work without limits for consumers, there is enough generation despite the cold weather, the Ministry of Energy said.
