Users of social networks who subscribe to the accounts of Daria Trepova, who was arrested the day before on charges of committing a terrorist attack, or who are at least somehow related to her, began to receive threats. This was reported by the “Rotonda” Telegram channel with reference to St. Petersburg activists.
The interlocutors of the publication say that user data was published in groups devoted to the search for those involved in the explosion in which the pro-war blogger Vladlen Tatarsky was killed.
Feminist Elena Kondrakhina reported that she was attacked by bots after she asked in a volunteer chat whether it was possible to send Trepova’s transmission to the pre-trial detention center. Unknown persons published the activist’s home address and threatened her and her relatives with reprisals. Kondrakhina denies knowing the accused and claims that she did not sign it.
According to Rotonda, Vladislav Pozdnyakov, the founder of the “Men’s State” recognized as extremist and banned in Russia, participates in the persecution of those associated with Daria Trepova – information about Kondrakhina was published in his Telegram channel.
Yesterday, in a closed session, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sent Daria Trepova under arrest for two months on charges of committing a terrorist attack by an organized group and illegally carrying explosive devices.
- An explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg occurred on the evening of April 2. At that moment, there was a meeting with the pro-war Z-blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. He died, dozens of people were injured. Law enforcement authorities detained a 26-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, Daria Trepova. She is accused of bringing a statuette with an explosive device to the meeting with Tatarsky.
- According to media sources, Trepova could not have guessed that the statuette, which she handed over to Tatarsky, contained an explosive substance.
- Russian investigative bodies claimed possible involvement in the murder of Vladlen of Tatarsky Ukrainy, as well as the Anti-Corruption Fund, founded by Alexei Navalny. Both the Ukrainian authorities and supporters of the opposition deny involvement in the attack.
