Uss may be hiding in Sardinia after escaping

The son of the head of the Krasnoyarsk region, entrepreneur Artyom Uss, who escaped from house arrest in Milan last week, may still be in Italy. Traces can lead to the island of Sardinia, where Ussa has real estate. This was reported by the local publication Cagliaripad on Monday.

The US is being extradited by the United States. Last week, the Italian court of first instance made a decision on his extradition. Immediately after that, it became known that the son of the Russian governor had fled.

When escaping, Uss could use a private plane and forged documents. This was reported by La Repubblica on Monday, citing sources. The publication assumes that the Russian special services helped him escape. It is clarified that after leaving the apartment in Milan, Uss Jr. got into a car driven by a second person. Before that, he cut off the electronic bracelet, by which the authorities could trace his movement.

It is claimed that Uss Jr. is connected to a network that allowed Russia to bypass sanctions and obtain high-tech military goods.

The Sardinian edition also reports that Uss flew out of Milan on a private plane and, probably, on forged documents. Ono notes that he could fly to Sardinia. According to the investigation, he is a shareholder of the local company Luxury Sardinia through a Cypriot company, which, in turn, owns a hotel on the east coast of Sardinia. Ussa also has an account in a Sardinian bank.
