VAKS confiscated the assets of Saldo’s collaborator, but not all of them

The higher anti-corruption court satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice and decided to confiscate part of the assets of the collaborator Volodymyr Saldo, who headed the occupation administration of Kherson.
This is stated in decided of VAKS judges, announced on Tuesday morning, Transparency International Ukraine.
Criminal proceedings were opened against Saldo on suspicion of high treason committed under martial law, which aggravates the punishment.
The third parties in the case are the wife and daughter of the collaborator, Vitaly Sinkov, and four legal entities: “BEBKO-AVTO” LLC; LLC “KONKA”, PJSC “CHESTNUT”; PJSC “DELTA-SERVICE”.
Thus, according to the court’s decision, the following assets were confiscated:
- 5 land plots in Kherson;
- 4 non-residential premises in Kherson and Crimea;
- 2 houses in Kherson;
- 3 apartments in Crimea, Odessa and Kherson;
- 2020 Volvo car;
- 99.86% of the shares of PJSC “KASHTAN”, which is registered in the Korostyshiv district of the Zhytomyr region. The company specializes in extracting decorative and construction stone, limestone, gypsum, chalk and clay slate. Salda’s wife, Lyubov, is among the founders. The authorized capital is UAH 370,000.
- 30% of the shares of PJSC “DELTA-SERVICE” – a transport company registered in Kherson. Its authorized capital is UAH 7 million, and the final beneficiaries are Lyubov Saldo, Leonid Girin and the Turkish company AYKUT KETENSIOGLU.
At the same time, VAKS did not satisfy the Ministry of Justice’s claim regarding the seizure of assets related to the collaborator’s daughter Iryna Saldo.
These are the following assets:
- “BEBKO-AVTO” LLC is registered in Kherson with a charter capital of UAH 1.8 million. The network of car dealerships is a dealer for the sale and repair of Volvo cars. Among the final beneficiaries of the company are the daughter of the collaborator Iryna Saldo, Vyacheslav Bebko and Anton Kushnir.
- LLC “KONKA” is also a Kherson-based company that organizes leisure activities. Among the founders of the company are the same Iryna Saldo, as well as Oleksandr Bolbot, Volodymyr Dydin and Hanna Klimentenko. The size of the authorized capital of the enterprise is UAH 18,500, and the income for 2020 was UAH 707,000.
“The Ministry of Justice obviously failed to prove the connection between these assets, which belong to Saldo’s daughter and his partner and the Kherson Gauleiter himself,” TI Ukraine noted.
The appeal can be submitted within 5 days from the day of the announcement of the decision, the full text of the decision will be drawn up on May 9.

In particular, the list includes representatives of the occupation administrations: Kyrylo Stremousov, Volodymyr Saldo, Volodymyr Rogov, Kostyantyn Ivashchenko, etc.
Saldo was the mayor of Kherson from 2002 to 2012 (three terms), a people’s deputy from the “Party of Regions” in the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation.
