we have no way to track the fate of Navalny

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated that the Kremlin has no intention or ability to track the fate of the prisoners. That’s how he answered the question about the whereabouts of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who disappeared from colony No. 6 in Melekhov. Interfax quotes Peskov’s words.

The press secretary of the President of Russia also stated that “US interference” in Navalny’s case is unacceptable and impossible. Earlier, the official representative of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, expressed concern about the fate of the Russian politician.

In early December, associates of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny reported that they had lost contact with him. He was also not included in the court sessions. Later, the employees of the strict regime colony No. 6 in Melekhov, Vladimir region, where the oppositionist was in recent months, said that he was no longer with them.

Navalny’s whereabouts are unknown. Apparently, the ego was staged. The FSIN, as a rule, does not inform where the prisoners are sent until the stage is completed.

• Navalny’s associates announced on December 7, the day of the presidential election in Russia, the beginning of a campaign against the election of Vladimir Putin for a new term. This was announced in the social networks of Navalny and the Anti-corruption Fund created by him.

• Navalny was serving time in a high-security colony in the Vladimir region on charges of fraud. In September 2023, as an “incorrigible” he was transferred to a single room of the cell type for an hour – “the most severe punishment possible in all types of colonies,” he wrote.
• The politician was sent to a detention center more than 20 times. The reasons, for example, were an unbuttoned button and refusal to wash the fence.
• Navalny has pleaded not guilty, many human rights organizations have recognized him as a political prisoner.
