1,700 mayors against corruption: Ukraine is preparing to join the EU and NATO


The new anti-corruption program of the state scale has found details. It includes more than 1,700 mayors who will reduce the level of corruption in the Ukrainian state, Vechernye Vesty reports with reference to the national anti-corruption agency.

Oleksandr Novikov reported that a critically important step now for the future of the Ukrainian people is the State Anti-Corruption Plan. It will allow Ukraine to fully join the ranks of the European Union, as well as the NATO Alliance. It will also help Ukrainian entrepreneurs to create a business on the territory of the Ukrainian state.

Novikov also noted that this step is important for the recognition by the people of the satisfaction of his requests for justice in the Ukrainian state.

The areas covered by the program include shipbuilding, law enforcement, economic regulation, taxation, land management, and city construction.
