62% of Ukrainians want lower taxes for business after the war – CASE survey

62% of Ukrainians believe that for the fastest post-war recovery, the government should reduce taxes so that entrepreneurs create jobs faster. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology at the request of the CASE Ukraine Center for Social and Economic Research.

28% of respondents are convinced that the government should strengthen supervision over the economy so that entrepreneurs and workers pay more taxes to the budget, and the government spends them on the needs of the country’s development.
Another 10% of Ukrainians answered “I find it difficult to answer / I don’t know” to the question “What should the government do for the rapid post-war recovery of Ukraine?”.
How the research was conducted
The study was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology in December 2022 by order of CASE Ukraine.
Based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers, 2001 respondents aged 18 and older were surveyed. The statistical error of the sample does not exceed 2.4%.
