Ukrainians who were forcibly evacuated to Poland after the start of the Great War have the right to reimbursement for medicines on the same terms as citizens of the country. In order to receive funds for purchased medicines, you need to have an appropriate prescription from a Polish doctor, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reports. Also, to receive compensation, you will need a PESEL number (Universal Electronic System of the Population Register in Poland). And also a document confirming the crossing of the border no earlier than February 24, 2022, that is, after the start of the great war in Ukraine. “You can read the list of drugs that are subject to reimbursement online. The list of drugs changes every month,” the Ministry of Reintegration writes.
