After the New York court found Donald Trump guilty of fraud, a video was released online where the late father of the 45th US president, who was “resurrected” with the help of artificial intelligence, addresses his son.

According to the non-governmental organization The Lincoln Project, the clip was created to show Fred Trump’s reaction to the fact that his son “lost the empire he built.”

“I always knew you’d be embarrassed. I have bailed for you so many times. All your deals were rubbish. You screwed up. I’m ashamed that you got my last name,” says the AI-generated Fred Trump, who died in 1999 of pneumonia.

Fred Trump founded the Trump Organization back in the 1920s in New York. After the death of his father, Donald Trump took over his business and transferred the responsibilities to his sons – Donald Jr. and Eric.

“Donald Trump often accuses his critics of using artificial intelligence. We’ve always said that it doesn’t take an AI to make Trump look bad – The Donald does it himself“, said Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project.

The video also aims to persuade voters not to support Donald Trump’s re-election as president.

“How did my son become so dumb? The brand I built turned to shit because of you. You are nothing. You’ll be lucky if you don’t go to jail. I’ve been dead for 30 years and I’m still ashamed of you“- says Trump’s “father” in the video.

It will be recalled that in September 2022, the Attorney General of the State of New York, Letitia James, filed a civil lawsuit in the case of the real estate fraud of the ex-president of the United States.

Subsequently, the New York court recognized that former US President Donald Trump may have committed fraud related to exaggerating his wealth in financial statements in order to obtain larger and more profitable loans.
