In the first 24 schools of Zaporozhye, education can resume in a mixed format, provided that all safety rules are followed.
This decision has yet to be approved by the Defense Council, reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration.
“At the initiative of Zaporizhzhia OVA, at the request of schoolchildren’s parents and after consultations with teachers and law enforcement agencies, the executive committee of Zaporizhzhia City Council made a decision to establish a mixed format of education in schools of the regional center.
The next step is the approval of this decision at the Defense Council, the meeting of which will take place in the coming days.” – writes Fedorov.
The head of OVA emphasizes that the transition to a mixed format is possible only at the request of parents.
Only those schools that have equipped shelters will be able to start work in this format.
Also, the local authorities promise that they will conduct training with teachers and schoolchildren on behavior during emergency situations.
It will be recalled that earlier the head of the OVA reported that in Zaporizhzhia can open underground schools by September 1.
