A foreigner detained near St. Petersburg for illegal stay in Russia was instead sent to a military unit to prepare for the war in Ukraine, reports “Holod”. He himself claims that he did not sign the contract for military service, but does not rule out that it was done for him.
A citizen of Tajikistan named Dalerjon was detained on May 4 in the city of Kingisepp, Leningrad Region. He did not have a permit to stay in Russia. The next day, the court decided to fine him three thousand rubles. After that, he was brought to the center for the temporary stay of foreigners for subsequent deportation, but on May 30 he was sent to a military unit.
According to the words of the Tajik man quoted by Kholod, he said that he wanted to go home and did not want to fight, but he was told that the contract had already been signed.
Dalerjon said that his passport was taken away. In addition, he reported that there is a citizen of Uzbekistan in the same military unit as him, who also does not want to go to the front.
