Ukrainians living abroad were able to check their passport documents using the updated service in a few clicks.

About this reported Pavlo Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.

He noted that his Office receives numerous appeals from Ukrainians abroad about the difficulty in obtaining information regarding the terms of obtaining passport documents.

Now Ukrainians who received asylum in other countries will be able to quickly and conveniently check the status of their passport documents with the help of an updated service that allows you to get information about the readiness of your documents in just a few clicks,” said the human rights commissioner.

In order to use the new service, you need to go to the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and enter all the necessary data, after which you will receive up-to-date information on whether the documents are ready for receipt.

In addition, in case of refusal to issue the document, the reason will be immediately known.

To receive more detailed explanations, a person can contact the place of submission of documents, or call the number indicated on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“These changes will allow you to get important information without the need to personally contact the document submission unit. Therefore, the state is doing everything possible to make this process convenient and accessible for citizens of Ukraine, regardless of their place of stay,” Lubinets said.
