The Dnipro district administration of the capital has terminated the contract for the purchase of drums for “psychological relief of children in shelters” for over 800,000 hryvnias.

This was reported by the head of the RDA, Pavlo Babii Facebook.

According to him, he demanded an official investigation due to public outcry regarding the purchase of musical instruments, vegetable cutters and frying pans by the Department of Education of the Dnipro RDA.

Babiy instructed to conduct an official investigation and create commissions for verification of the validity and expediency of these purchases.

“I want to emphasize that funds from the budget of the city of Kyiv and the state were not spent on the purchase of drums. Also, 306 pieces of musical instruments (drums of various diameters) were purchased ahead of schedule,” he added.
