A quarter of the current People’s Deputies of Ukraine are connected with 100 financial and industrial groups.

The business connections of people’s elected representatives are discussed in research YouControl system.

Thus, there are 403 people’s deputies in the Ukrainian parliament of the 9th convocation. Of them, 113 persons are associated with 100 financial and industrial groups (FPG).

In particular, of 235 deputies 35 deputies of the largest faction in the parliament – the “Servant of the People” party belong to the FPG.

Out of 22 deputies of the Platform for Life and Peace, up to 13 deputies belong to financial and industrial groups.

Of the 24 deputies of the “Fatherland” faction, up to 12 deputies belong to financial and industrial groups.

Of the 17 deputies of the “Party for the Future” group, up to 11 deputies belong to financial and industrial groups.

Some people’s representatives belonging to the same FPG are members of various factions and deputy groups in the Verkhovna Rada. For example, Viktor Baloga is a member of the “Party for the Future” parliamentary group, and his cousin Vasyl Petyovka is a member of the “Trust” parliamentary group. Both are key members of the “Group of the Baloga and Petyovka Families”.

A total of 48 such persons were found, almost half of them were associated with 22 FPGs in the YouControl system.

More than a third of ex-National Deputies of the 9th convocation, who belong to/belong to the FPG, lost the status of people’s deputy before the full-scale invasion, in the majority due to the transfer to other government positions.
