A resident of Kansk was sent to the colony for cheating on the police and the church

The Kansky City Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory sentenced 20-year-old local resident Roman Kvytkovsky to two years and three months in a colony-settlement, found him guilty of insulting the feelings of believers, insulting the police and hooliganism.

The 28-year-old acquaintance of Kvytkovsky, Mykola Sosyn, was sentenced to 440 hours of compulsory labor by the court and found guilty only of insulting the feelings of believers.

According to the investigation, residents of Kansk, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, approached the police on the street, after which Roman Kvytkovsky “decided to express everything he thinks about the employees” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in an obscene form. Then the friends entered the Holy Trinity Cathedral, where they also began to swear, and also, according to the protocol, “dance, shout and laugh at the camera.”

In the press release of the Cannes court, both defendants are called “bloggers” whose actions “violated the preparation for the Easter liturgy and expressed clear and gross disrespect for the church.”
