Alexei Horynov’s health deteriorated sharply in the colony

The state of health of former municipal deputy Alexei Horynov, who is serving a term in a colony on the article about “fakes about the army”, has deteriorated sharply. This was reported by a lawyer who visited Horynov on Friday in the IK-2 colony in Pokrov. Horinov has bronchitis, a high temperature, and he is not given the medicines that he had with him when he was placed in the colony.

According to the lawyer, “Alexei is in a very poor state of health. The color of his skin is blue. Alexey has no strength to even sit on a chair and speak. He practically collapsed several times.” Horinov himself said that he has a fever, constant chills, it is difficult for him to breathe, it is very cold in the room.

According to Horynov, he seeks medical help, but the prison doctor says that the temperature is normal and no treatment is required. At the same time, to the lawyer’s question, the colony staff answered that all the necessary assistance would be provided to his ward.

Gorinov’s associates remind in a telegram channel dedicated to him that the prisoner has a chronic lung disease, which is well known to doctors in the colony, and in 2016 he underwent an operation to remove part of a lung.

• Former Moscow municipal deputy Alexei Horinov was sentenced to seven years in prison in the summer of this year on charges of spreading fakes about the Russian army. He was convicted for speaking at a meeting of the municipal council, which was attended by several people. During the meeting, the deputies, at the suggestion of Alexei Horynov, announced a minute of silence in memory of the victims of aggression in Ukraine. Horinov also noted that all efforts of civil society in Russia should be directed to stopping the war.
• In October, it became known that another criminal case was initiated against Horynov – on the article about the justification of terrorism. The case materials indicate that in the colony, during conversations with other prisoners, Horinov tried to form in the convicts “an opinion about the permissibility of the activities of an organization recognized by the legislation of the Russian Federation as terrorist, as well as the commission of acts of sabotage and terrorism at the objects of the transport infrastructure.” Presumably, it was about the Ukrainian unit “Azov” and about the explosions on the Crimean bridge.
