Mercenaries of PMC “Wagner” during their rebellion on Saturday shot down, among other things, a Russian Il-22M military plane. Ego is called an “air command post”. This is evidenced by the calculations of the Dutch Oryx project, the crash of the Il-22M is also reported by Russian Telegram channels.

According to Channel One correspondent Irina Kuksenkova, there were 10 people on board the IL-22M, they apparently died. “When (head of PMC “Wagner” Yevheniya) Prigozhin was already asked why at the headquarters of the South Military District, because this plane does not carry out strikes, but performs other functions, he said – and the fool Poshnik shot down everything that took off in the column,” Kuksenkova writes, without citing the source of her statements. She also claims that Prigozhin agreed to pay 50 million in compensation to the relatives of the dead pilots. This is also reported by a number of other Telegram channels. Neither Prigozhin nor the Ministry of Defense of Russia commented on this.
The Ministry of Defense did not officially report any losses in battles with the rebels. Both Oryx and Russian pro-military Telegram channels, in particular “Rybar” and Fighterbomer, wrote that PMC mercenaries, in addition to the plane, shot down 6 combat helicopters. Among them are Ka-52 (pilots died), Mi-8, Mi-35M and three Mi-8MTPR-1 electronic warfare helicopters. The total number of dead could reach 20. Losses among the mercenaries of PMC “Wagner” who were struck from the air were not reported.
Practically all the aircraft were shot down on Saturday morning, when the PMC convoy was moving through the Voronezh region towards Moscow. On Saturday evening, the Russian authorities announced that an agreement had been reached with the rebels, and Prigozhin confirmed that his men would not go to Moscow. The press secretary of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, said that the participants of the armed demonstration will not be prosecuted.
