In St. Petersburg, an installation in the form of two hearts, set up on Dvortsova Square in honor of “twinning” with the annexed Mariupol, was taken under protection, the “Fontanka” publication reports. According to the mass media, from now on near the composition, employees of the security agency will be on duty around the clock. It is not specified what it is related to.
Two hearts, a large one with the inscription “St. Petersburg” and a small one with the inscription “Mariupol”, symbolizing the “twinning” of the cities, were installed by the authorities of St. Petersburg on Dvortsova Square in December. Less than a week after installation, the installation was covered with graffiti and inscriptions.
One of them, on the heart with the name of Mariupol, read: “Murderers, you bombed it yourselves. Jews.” Later, the police detained an 11th-grade student from one of the St. Petersburg schools who allegedly wrote the inscription. A report on the administrative article on the discrediting of the Russian army was drawn up on her.
After that, the installation was replaced with a new one.
