ARMA is looking for a manager for the AN-140-100 aircraft, the owner of which fled to Crimea

The National Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) is looking for a steward for the passenger plane AN-140-100, the owner of which is the ex-director of one of the Ukrainian enterprises who fled to the occupied Crimea.

According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the owner of the plane is the director of one of the Ukrainian civil aviation enterprises, who fled to the temporarily occupied Crimea. There, according to law enforcement officers, he began to cooperate with representatives of the aggressor state.

It is noted that the person involved in the criminal proceedings planned to hand over this aircraft to the invaders.

The plane was seized and handed over to ARMA, so the agency has announced a competitive selection process for the manager of the passenger plane AN-140-100, manufactured in 2004.

The plane has been excluded from the State Register of Civil Aircraft of Ukraine since August 3, 2017, ARMA said, and is currently not in use – it needs to restore flight capability.

Acceptance of documents from the participants of the competition lasts until April 25.

The collaborator promised the head of the occupying power of one of the temporarily occupied regions to hand over the AN-140-100 passenger plane belonging to his company and located in the territory controlled by Ukraine. He also assured that he would negotiate with business partners on the transfer of three more aircraft of the company, which are currently on the territory of the Russian Federation.
