In the Omsk region, water entered the houses of at least five villages in three districts. The streets of Severo-Lyubinskoe village and Sosnovka village in Azov district were flooded, as well as Lyubino-Malorossi village and Politotdel village in Lyubinsky district, houses of Sibirskoe village in Russko-Polyansky district were flooded. Residents of the village of Sibirskoe told the editors that water entered their houses and destroyed all their belongings on the night of April 4 to 5. By Monday, the water level had risen even more.

“We ourselves evacuated ourselves, and children, and old people, and pets!” says Tatiana, a resident of Sibirsk.

In Severo-Lyubinsk, according to residents, several streets are now under water. “The water is in the houses, we lifted valuable things onto the roofs, but we cannot even leave the house to go to the store – on the roads, the water is almost as high as a person’s height. No one can leave without a boat, and not everyone has a boat, we did not see rescuers.” , – reported Sergey from Severo-Lyubinskogo.

The administration of the Lyubinsky district calls the flooding of the village “flooding” and claims that “there is no critical situation.”

“On April 6 and 7, all services of the district were on high alert. Since the existing pipes could not cope with the flow of water, special equipment was brought in and the available ditches along the village were expanded to drain the water. Today there is a drop in the water level, the pumping station is working, the situation is critical no,” regional governor Vitaly Khotsenko said in his Telegram channel. According to his data, in the Omsk region there are about 60 houses and about 250 homesteads in the flood zone.
