Charity merch “We are of one blood” from FUIB from now on in the Center of Central Ukraine

Social project “We are of the same blood” from FUIB has been continuing its mission of saving lives, supporting business, promoting donation and helping wounded soldiers and civilians in front-line cities for more than 17 months.

It was in support of the latest collection that a charity event and a meeting with the writer-volunteer Serhii Zhadan was organized on the day of the launch of the corner in the Center of the Center. This is an evening of poems and sincere communication, the guests of which were permanent partners and friends of the project, artists, journalists and influencers.

During the readings, Zhadana artist Maria Fedorivna created a painting “Creation of Two”, the proceeds from the sale of which are used to support the social project “We are of one blood”.

“We are proud of the fact that the social initiative of the FUIB “We are of one blood” is gaining popularity, and in addition to the website and social networks, it is now presented in the Center of Ukraine. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the FUIB has been doing everything possible to help the Ukrainian economy.

But we want to do more, so we initiated a project that helps rescue wounded defenders and civilians in the hottest spots. We are grateful to Serhiy Zhadan, our partner foundations and all guests.

Today, together, we helped a large number of Ukrainians, because the life of each person is priceless,” – kFUIB marketing director Ksenia Sikorska comments on the event.

More than 30 partners have already joined the project, the funds of which are directed to charitable initiatives: foundations, manufacturers, artists, illustrators and designers. Recently, it has been supplemented with a collection of T-shirts, shopping bags and hoodies with phrases from poems Serhiy Zhadanthe design of which was created by a tattoo artist Maria Fedorivna.

Dthe collection includes clothes and accessories with quotes “Love is worth everything”, “Love, fish, love”, “To be a sunflower in the fields of Donbas is to know how to live and what to die for”, “You can’t miss happiness”. The first edition of the collection was sold out in 2.5 hours.

“I am glad that poems can not only inspire Ukrainians to fight the enemy, but also, in some sense, save real lives. I am very grateful to the FUIB bank for such a wonderful project and support of domestic artists and designers, especially for helping the wounded in this war.

I appeal to all Ukrainians: no matter where you were born, in the West or in the East, remember, we are all of the same blood!” Serhiy Zhadan comments.

About the project “We are of the same blood”

Voluntary donation and donation of blood is an important issue during the war.

According to the statistics of the project “We are of the same blood” 11.5 thousand Ukrainians ordered charity merch, and more 1649 joined as donors, giving thousands of compatriots a chance at life.

During the entire period of the project’s existence, it was possible to collect 6 million hryvnias – it helped to save more than 90 thousand lives.

Accumulated funds were transferred to public organizations “DonorUA”, “Hospitaliers” and “Blood Agents”. In particular, they were directed to:

• 62 delivery of blood components to hot spots;
• 2 low-temperature refrigerators for blood plasma storage;
• 4 patient monitors for emergency paramedics;
• more than 3500 means of tactical medicine (hemostatic bandages, tactical scissors, tourniquets, occlusive stickers, hemostatic bandages, etc.).
