Blogger from Petrozavodsk Sergey Drugov was sentenced to two years of forced labor for an article on the rehabilitation of Nazism for a repost on May 9 in Telegram. This is reported by the From Karelia with freedom project.

According to the verdict, in 2022, Drugov shared the publication “Feminist Anti-War Resistance” under the title “May 9: Day of Trouble, Death Regiment, Blood Parade.” The court considered the repost to be the dissemination of “disrespectful information about the days of military glory of Russia” on the Internet. The maximum penalty for this is five years in prison.

Drugov deleted his Telegram channel, where the post was posted, in the same year 2022. At the court session, he admitted guilt and called the repost a mistake. In addition to forced labor, Drugova was banned from managing Internet resources for three years. The defense intends to appeal the verdict.
