In Omsk, a conscript was sentenced to 6 years for a fight with a commander

The Omsk Garrison Military Court sentenced the mobilized Ivan Martynov to six years in a strict regime prison in the case of the beating of an officer. He will also have to pay compensation to the victim. According to the investigation, Martynov beat the commander who made remarks to him.

Ivan Martynov was mobilized last September. At the time of the crime, he was in a tent camp where he was undergoing training. According to the investigation, Martynov was drunk and attacked officer Perevalov, who had previously picked on him. Martynov himself admitted partial guilt. He claims that both were drunk, and the officer provoked the conflict.

As a result of the fight, Perevalov received serious head injuries and a brain hemorrhage. According to Mediazon, witnesses show that Martynov suspected the commander of espionage.

This is not the first case of punishing those mobilized for conflicts with commanders. The most famous case is the mobilized Alexander Leshkov, who was sentenced to seven years in prison for attacking Lieutenant Colonel Denys Mazanov.
