Four people were killed as a result of shelling by the Russian army in the Donetsk region. At least three people were injured. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavel Kyrilenko.
Kyrylenko also published photos of destroyed residential buildings and administrative buildings. According to the official, massive shelling took place in Kurakhovo and Horlovka districts.
The American Institute for the Study of War reported that, apparently, Russian forces are advancing into the center of Bakhmut. Earlier, the Russian mass media published information about this. Analysts of the institute believe that in the near future the mercenaries of the so-called PMC “Wagner” will try to take control of the center and the western part of Bakhmut, where Ukrainian military positions are now located.
In turn, the governor of the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine reported shelling of the Shebekinsky district. According to Vyacheslav Gladkov, the drone dropped two explosive devices on the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. The shells hit the gardens. There were no casualties or damage.
On April 3, Shebekinsky district was shelled twice. The first time a local company was evacuated due to a falling shell. As a result of the second attack, four houses in the village of Pervomaisky were damaged.
In Belgorod, a high (yellow) level of terrorist threat and a medium-level response regime are in effect.
The authorities of the Bryansk region reported yesterday that drones attacked the buildings of the military enlistment office and the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Sevsk. No one was hurt. The head of the region, Oleksandr Bogomaz, wrote in a telegram that the Ukrainian military was involved in the shelling.
