In the correctional colony No. 41, which is located in the city of Yurga, Kemerovo region, prisoners were questioned for refusing to go out for exercise, the publication Tayga reports with reference to its sources in the institution.

According to journalists, in June, the head of the FSIN regional department came to the colony with an inspection. He did not like the fact that not all prisoners participate in the morning exercise. After that, those held in the colony began to be forced to do so with the help of torture.

As Tayga writes, on the night from June 5 to June 6, several dozen people in black clothes and masks arrived at the detention center and beat the prisoners, put them on stretchers, forced them to crawl on all fours and bark. Later, some of the torture victims opened their own veins in protest.

The Sibir.Realii edition, in turn, reports that the so-called “torture brigade” arrived in colony No. 41 with the aim of “establishing the regime”. The wife of one of them confirmed to journalists the torture to which the prisoners are subjected (in particular, they are beaten with electric shocks). The name of one of the victims of violence is also named – Ernys Kirmanov. According to Sibir.Realii, he opened his stomach as a sign of protest, but neither he nor the other victims are transferred to the sledge: the medical workers examine the condemned on the spot and give “signs” that no one has any health complaints.

FSIN has not yet commented on the information published in the mass media.
