In Ussuriysk, a criminal case was opened against a local resident after threats against a participant in Russia’s war against Ukraine. This is reported by the Investigative Committee.

The case was initiated under the articles of threat of serious harm to health and hooliganism. The name of the detainee is not disclosed. It is known that he is 30 years old, previously he was brought to administrative responsibility more than 15 times.

The conflict occurred on March 8 near the central market. The detainee allegedly parked the car in a place for people with disabilities. A war participant who lost a leg in the fighting took a photo of the car’s number plate.

Telegram channel NEWS.VL publishes a video, which is allegedly filmed by a military man. The author of the video says that the driver of an improperly parked car threatens to “tear off his second leg” because he recorded a traffic violation.

After the publication of the news, the driver who violated the rule reported that the situation was distorted. “I was noticed by a man who was in a civilian uniform and was sitting in a car, which did not show that he was disabled, and it was not written on his forehead that he was a veteran of the SVO (special military operation, that is the official name of the war against Ukraine – approx. RS)”, the post says.

The detainee faces up to seven years in prison.
