In Yakutia, after a fight between policemen on the day of their professional holiday, a criminal case was opened for “deliberately causing serious harm to health.” This was reported by the regional Investigative Committee.

The incident occurred in one of the restaurants in Lensk, where employees of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Lensk district were celebrating Police Day on November 10. Police captain Roman Sevryugin beat the acting head of the department, lieutenant colonel Alexei Nadtochiev, in front of his colleagues, SakhaDay and Baza reported. The victim received a closed craniocerebral injury and fell into a coma.

According to SakhaDay, the conflict initially arose between the head of the economic security department, Sevryugin, and the head of the rear division. Nadtochiev intervened, and Sevryugin began to beat him.

The recordings from the surveillance camera show that the co-workers initially did not intervene in the beating of the boss. Nadtochiev received multiple blows to the face, his maxillofacial bones and skull were injured in 10 places, writes Gulagu.net. The lieutenant colonel was taken to the intensive care unit. According to the prosecutor’s office, the victim fell into a third-degree coma.

Roman Sevryugin was detained. It is reported that inspectors from the Main Directorate of Self-Defense Security and other departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have flown out of Moscow.
