Journalist Ivan Safronov, sentenced to 22 years in prison on charges of treason, was taken from the colony in Krasnoyarsk Krai to an unknown destination. On Wednesday, they received notifications from the FSIN that the addressee had “disappeared to another institution.” His current location is not disclosed by the agency.

According to the BBC, even on Tuesday, Safronov received letters sent to him on September 10. His staging could take place on September 11-12. Earlier, in letters to relatives, Safronov did not inform that he was awaiting transfer to another colony.
