Journalists learned the pseudonym of Nikolai Patrushev in the Federal Tax Service database

Journalists managed to find out the pseudonym of the head of the Security Council, Mykola Patrushev, which is used to denote a secret official after his last name was removed from state databases. This is stated in the investigation published by “Mozhem obschitni” and Novaya Gazeta Evropa.

Among the political families close to Vladimir Putin, the family of the head of the Security Council, the former director of the FSB, Nikolai Patrushev, has remained one of the most influential for 25 years, according to an investigation into how the state protects the secrets of the Patrushev family, helping it hide assets and avoids Western sanctions.

In the database of the Federal Tax Service, Nikolai Patrushev is hidden under the name — Lukov Yevgeny Fyodorovych. His date of birth, passport number and TIN completely coincide with the data of the secretary of the Security Council of Russia. The TIN (taxpayer identification number) is one for life, it does not change even if other personal data is completely changed, the journalists note.

At the same time, in the latest leaks from the Federal Tax Service, the name of not only Mykola Patrushev, but also his eldest son, Minister of Agriculture Dmytro Patrushev, is missing, the authors of the investigation note.

According to official declarations, Dmitry Patrushev is one of the richest members of the Russian government. In 2021, his income amounted to 121 million rubles.

In 2018, his income even reached 184 million. A third of this amount, 41 million rubles, was earned by Dmitry Patrushev at the state-owned Rosselkhozbank, where at that time he held the position of chairman of the board.

In 2006, at the age of 24, Andrei Patrushev, the younger son of the head of the Security Council of Russia, was appointed an adviser to the head of the Rosneft oil company, Igor Sechin. After the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine, Patrushev Jr., like his father, fell under US sanctions.

Journalist Andrei Zakharov claims that Andrey Patrushev was renamed Alexey Golubev in the Federal Tax Service database.

Rosreestr also deleted data about the apartments of the Patrushevy family. One of them, as the journalists found out, is located in the office of the Presidential Affairs Office on Rochdelskaya Street in Moscow. Nikolay Patrushev got this apartment completely free of charge back in 2004. A square meter in this house is estimated at an average of 500 thousand rubles, which means that the Patrushevs’ housing can cost more than 128 million rubles. Now, according to journalists, Andrey Patrushev lives there.

Leaked Rosreestra databases indicate that Patrushev Jr. also lived in a 218-meter apartment on Mosfilmovskaya Street in Moscow. The apartments in this house were owned by the wife of the head of Chechnya, Medna Kadyrov, daughter of the Minister of Defense Yulia Shoigu. Both Shoigu’s apartment and the Kadyrovs’ home are safely located by Rosreestr’s online service. But Patrushev’s apartment at number 49 is missing, the investigation notes. Apartments of a similar area are sold in this complex for 145 million rubles.

The investigation by “Mozhem obschotni” and “Novaya gazeta Evropa” also mentions the nephew of the head of the Security Council of Russia, Vladimir Patrushev. Earlier, he was tried on the article about obstructing the work of journalists. Today, Vladimir Patrushev heads a state-owned company that produces mines and torpedoes. But his last name was removed from the company’s website, which allowed him to avoid sanctions.

It became known in 2019 that the Federal Tax Service has a database of high-ranking Russians and their relatives whose names are withheld. Then hackers hacked the website of the IT contractor of the Russian authorities, which developed the program “Tax-3”, with the help of which it is possible to remove from the information system of the tax service information about people who are under state protection or protection.
