Monthly payments for special merits: to whom and how much will be charged

The government adopted a resolution on monthly cash payments to citizens who have made special contributions to the Motherland and took a direct part in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported in the Ministry of Social Policy.

What is known
On January 20, the Government adopted a resolution that will ensure the implementation of monthly cash payments to citizens who have made special contributions to the Motherland and are directly involved in the protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as to members of the families of deceased (deceased) citizens from among them.
The document determines the amount of payments to citizens who have made special contributions to their families and who, since 2014, have been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the “Golden Star” order — three amounts of the minimum salary or UAH 20,100 on January 1 of this year.
Amounts of the monthly cash payment depending on the awarded distinction since 2014:
- awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi of three degrees — two sizes of the minimum salary, or UAH 13,400;
- awarded with the order “For Courage” of three degrees – one size of “minimalka”, or 6,700 hryvnias;
- awarded with the Order of Princess Olga of three degrees — also one size of the minimum salary;
- incapacitated family members of deceased (deceased) persons from the specified list – one “minimal”.

The allocation and payment of funds will be carried out by the Pension Fund. Citizens who have the right to receive a monthly cash payment and are not registered with the PFU should apply to the Pension Fund.
